Workshop Manager wanted – Lead a team, drive performance, and manage a fast-paced cross-border workshop in Botswana!

Our client is a well-established logistics and supply chain operator with a strong presence across Southern Africa. They run large fleets and workshops that service a wide range of high-performance vehicles and equipment. Known for their high standards and strong safety culture, they’re looking for someone who can lead from the front and handle fast-paced workshop operations.
You’ll manage a busy workshop, oversee a team of 30+, and ensure uptime on a fleet of Komatsu and Volvo trucks. Your role will involve planning preventative maintenance, managing rebuilds, parts stock control, reporting, compliance, and delivering workshop efficiencies. You’ll also work closely with cross-border operations and ensure that fleet performance meets operational demands.
Job experience and Skills Required:
• Trade-tested Diesel Mechanic or Earthmoving Equipment Technician (recognised by Merseta or similar).
• Minimum 5 years in a workshop management role, preferably in transport or heavy equipment industries.
• Strong administrative skills, including job card reviews, stock and parts management, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Volvo and Komatsu trucks is essential.
• Proven leadership in managing large workshop teams and performance outputs.
