French Market & Staff Training Focus
We are a tour operator seeking a Tourism Consultant to support our growth in the French speaking market. This role focuses on staff training, improving sales and service delivery, and aligning our brand with the values of responsible and ethical tourism.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cross-cultural communication, a deep understanding of French travel expectations, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your role will involve guiding our team to better understand and serve French-speaking clients, with a strong emphasis on respectful cultural exchange and sustainable travel practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train and mentor staff on French service expectations and communication styles
• Improve sales techniques tailored to the French-speaking market
• Support the integration of responsible tourism models
• Help position the company as socially aware and ethically engaged for European travelers
Profile:
• Fluent in French; strong communication and intercultural skills
• Background in tourism, sales, or training (ideally all three)
• Knowledge of the French travel market and responsible tourism trends
• Comfortable delivering workshops and hands-on coaching
Qualifications required:
• Degree on Diploma In French Studies
• Degree or diploma in Human Resources and/or Sociology of work, Hospitality.
• Qualifications in marketing would be an added bonus
