Job Summary:
The pharmacist will be responsible for managing medication dispensation and providing expert advice on drug interactions, usage, and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in a pharmacy setting and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescribed medication and provide advice on usage and side effects.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical knowledge and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications:
• Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC).
• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation and industry best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, healthcare environment.
