Job Description To provide administrative and operational support across Home Loans and WesBank Insurance within Operations. The role is responsible for the end-to-end administration of insurance processes for both vehicle and property finance portfolios. This includes ensuring accurate placement of insurance cover, maintaining and reconciling insurance schedules, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. The role also contributes to asset protection and an enhanced customer experience through effective reporting, insights, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle finance and insurance products. Ensure insurance coverage is in place for all Home Loans and vehicle finance accounts. Facilitate placement of insurance for new business, including Homeowner’s Cover (HOC), Embedded Life, Retrenchment Insurance, HLGC, Credit Life, Credit Shortfall, and Asset Cover. Maintain and update daily insurance schedules across all applicable products. Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations of insurance schedules and submit to relevant stakeholders. Process monthly premium transfers and payroll deduction schedules. Monitor and manage exception reports relating to insurance coverage. Maintain accurate records of individual insurance policies and system data (e.g., LMS, HOGAN). Manage insurance renewals, refunds, lapses, and mid-term policy amendments. Perform daily and monthly insurance reloads, including loan restructures. Liaise with insurers, brokers, dealerships, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely submissions and payments. Ensure dealership insurance payouts are processed for monthly renewals. Prepare documentation such as interest certificates, settlement letters, and paid-up letters. Respond promptly and effectively to insurance and administrative queries. Support reporting and provide insights to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
