Job title: IP Network Security Specialist

Supervisor: IP Network Manager
The candidate will provide high-level support and extensive experience in managing critical network equipment. This includes handling Orange IP-based network security, designing, implementing, and delivering advanced support for systems such as WAN, LAN, PABX, and MOBILE infrastructure. They will be responsible for implementing the security policies set by the senior manager and ensuring the proper use of Networks and IT by business departments, while also safeguarding them against external threats.
The main duties include but are not limited to:
Management of all IP Network Security & technical related issues (IPPABX, OBW LAN, Remote WAN sites, Outsourced Call Centers, Orange Group Network Flows,3rd Party VPNs, All OBW Innovation Projects, etc.)
Participate in support missions related to network and security infrastructure.
Manage migration projects, configurations, and implementation of network and security infrastructure developments.
Support Orange Botswana in data centre migration projects (data and flows collection, reconstruction of flow matrices, service platforms migration, post-migration support).
Support data centre architecture extension projects.
Ensure reporting related to the data centre equipment lifecycle (EOS, EOL, security bulletin, alert).
Analyse the performance of existing networks and services and propose recommendations.
Recommend technical solutions for the introduction of new services and technically manage the process of defining and validating E2E service architectures.
Provide appropriate technical recommendations based on OBW constraints.
Manage and maintain network (LAN/WAN) and security (Firewalls, Load balancer, etc.) equipment in operational condition.
IPSec VPN configurations and maintenance
Provide training in IP Network Technologies
Provides high level maintenance, support, and administration on Firewalls, routers, and switches.
Architects, designs, implements, maintains and operates IP systems controls and countermeasures.
Responds to IP Network incidents, including security related issues, coordinates with third-party incident responders.
Support Wireless and Wire Networks connectivity for equipment and users
Skills:
Good knowledge of Telco Network and Service Platforms

Qualifications and Experience:
Academic Level: BSc in any Information Systems or Computer Studies with added advantages for certification in
CCNP Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional Security)
JNCIP-SEC (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional - Security)
NSE 4,5,6 or 7 (Expert level — design, configure, troubleshoot)
Wireless Network Certification
RADWARE Application Delivery Controller
Minimum experience:
5 years of experience in networks and information systems security, preferably with an operator or supplier.
