DIESEL MECHANIC – MOTHEO COPPER MINE (3 YEAR 4 MONTHS CONTRACT)
Core Responsibilities
- Fixed and mobile equipment maintenance, service and inspections
- Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMU’s) Calibrations
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with engineering or capital projects management
- Maintenance related monthly reporting to Maintenance and Site Managers
- Maintenance scheduling and forecasting
- Equipment breakdown repairs and planned maintenance
- Critical and other spares management
- Equipment availabilities management
- Carry out maintenance of light duty vehicles
- Assist the Maintenance Manager implement the maintenance strategy and manage maintenance related store keeping
Qualifications
, Experience and Skills Requirements
- At least a Diploma or NCC in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- At least 4 years’ experience in a similar, explosives equipment maintenance, environment
- Knowledge of MMU’s and pump maintenance
- Valid class B driver’s licence
- Experience in maintenance of explosives manufacturing plants
- Must be a Motswana
- Must be able to speak Setswana and English fluently
- Knowledge and experience in AECI products is an added advantage
