We are currently seeking diligent, service-oriented individuals to join our team as Control Room Operators or Call Centre Agents.
Role Summary:
As a Control Room Operator, you will be the first point of contact in our 24/7 control centre. Your responsibilities will include monitoring alarm systems and CCTV, as well as providing timely communication and support to clients in distress or under threat.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor alarm systems, CCTV feeds, and GPS tracking tools
• Receive and respond to panic, intrusion, fire, and other emergency signals
• Dispatch and coordinate response units according to standard operating procedures
• Answer incoming calls and handle client queries professionally and promptly
• Maintain accurate records of all incidents, communications, and dispatches
• Report system faults or incidents requiring escalation to supervisors
• Adhere to control room protocols and maintain a high standard of situational awareness
Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 certificate
• Security Training /Qualification
• At least 1 year of experience in a call centre
• Computer literacy (MS Office, control room software, dispatch systems)
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and act swiftly during emergencies
• Clear criminal record
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
